If you have land thank an Indian.
The first nations of Turtle Island, North America, have been left behind as the United States grew to having the highest standard of living the world has ever seen. The community at Pine Ridge has felt this neglect especially hard and the winter's are brutal. We are gathering to raise funds that will go to purchasing propane for families in desperate need. Many of the families on the reservation live in trailers that are improperly insulated that use propane as their main source of heating. Funds raised will go through Tiyospaye Winyan Maka then go directly to the business that delivers propane to the reservation.
